Crow Wing Camp
Cultural/Historical Programs
From pioneer camping to interpretational characters, we offer a wide range of historical programs that are designed to foster a better appreciation of Canada's rich history. Canada's past comes alive as individuals and groups learn about the early existence of our country and gain a better appreciation of what our ancestors had to endure. Our presentations can be tailored to suit a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds, age groups, curriculum requirements or linguistic needs.
Our programs can be booked on-site or in your school, community, organization or group home. Contact us for more information.
“My mom and I went to Crow Wing Camp and I had the best time of my life. I met new people, swam in the Roseau River, and slept in a tee-pee on a buffalo hide. I learned a lot about my Metis heritage. I will tell all of my friends to go there if they ever get the chance.” -14-year-old participant
“The Crow Wing Camp had lots of information about history. I felt like I was back in the day from long ago. They explained a lot about our country's heritage. Swimming was also fun. Plus, all the participants and staff were very friendly.” 16-year-old participant
